Manalis Winery Website
A Greek–English website for Manalis Winery on Sikinos, presenting the estate, its wines, guided tours, the Strofylia restaurant, and weddings and events.
Challenge
Manalis Winery (Ktima Manali) lies on the northwestern side of Sikinos, in the Cyclades, at an altitude of 380–430 metres, 2 km from the island's main town and 6 km from the port. Since 2008 it has operated exclusively on renewable energy, making wine from its own vineyard of dry-stone terraces planted with traditional Cycladic varieties.
The estate is more than a winery: from May to mid-October visitors come for tastings at sunset, guided vineyard tours, dinner at its restaurant and private celebrations. It needed one website in Greek and English that brings all of this together and makes it easy to plan a visit or an event.
Solution
ABOVE Digital designed and developed manaliswinery.gr on WordPress, in Greek and English. Full-screen photography of the vineyard and terraces leads into dedicated pages for the winery, the wines, the Strofylia restaurant, the guided tour, and weddings and events.
The wine catalogue presents the estate's seven labels, from the Manalis red, white and rosé to barrel-aged Mavrotragano and Assyrtiko and the Liosato natural sweet wine, with a filter by red, rosé and white. The guided-tour page sets out what a visitor needs to know: a 30-minute vineyard tour with Mr. Manalis at 18:00, its price per person and booking by email two to three days ahead, while tastings at the self-service bar need no reservation.
The weddings and events section presents the estate as a private venue for up to 150 guests, and the winery, restaurant and contact phone numbers, email and social media links are a click away on every page.
